Points of Light Volunteer Award
During my last month in Senegal, I was nominated for a Daily Point of Light award. Points of Light is an organization started by President George H.W. Bush that celebrates volunteer achievements. I am learning a lot from seeing different parts of the food system than I did in Senegal. Commuting to these volunteer positions is also a good way to ensure I bike a minimum of 35 miles a week.
